Hosea 11:6-8

New American Standard Bible

⁶ And the ^(A)sword will whirl against ^[a]their cities,
And will destroy ^[b]their oracle priests
And ^(B)consume them, because of their ^(C)counsels.
⁷ So My people are determined to ^(D)turn from Me.
Though ^[c]they call ^[d]them to the One on high,
None at all exalts Him.

^8 (E)How can I give you up, Ephraim?
How can I surrender you, Israel?
How can I ^[e]make you like ^(F)Admah?
How can I treat you like ^(G)Zeboiim?
My heart is turned over within Me,
^[f]All My compassions are kindled.
